What documents must I bring when I come for my medical examination?

Please bring with you:

  1. Photo ID

  2. Current medical certificate if applicable

  3. If glasses are worn, bring your last optician prescription and glasses

  4. Please let us know if you have had laser eye surgery


Please note that the price has been raised for EASA initial cabin crew medicals. This is because these examinations now include mandatory ECG and Audiogram procedures. Further pricing details are below.

What is the cost of my aviation medical examination?

The following prices will be effective from 2025:

Class 1 Medical with Haemoglobin (Hb): £250
Class 1 Medical with Hb and ECG: £345
Class 1 Medical with Hb and Audiogram: £325
Class 1 Medical with Hb, ECG and Audiogram: £420

Class 2 Medical: £220
Class 2 Medical with ECG: £315
Class 2 Initial Medical with Mandatory ECG: £325

LAPL Medical: £200

EASA Initial Cabin Crew Medical (including ECG & Audiogram): £225
CAA Cabin Crew Medical (initial & periodic): £150
ECG Reporting: £40
Cholesterol Check: £40

Case work will be charged at £90 per half hour


How do I pay for my medical examination?

The fee for your medical requirement will be paid at the end of your examination. Bank transfer, card payment or cheques are acceptable.
